Founder
Cross Cultural Homecare Inc. was founded by Bao Herr. What inspired Ms. Herr to establish the agency was due to her experiences as a certified nursing assistant, and direct care to individuals in their homes. Ms. Herr realize that the care provided was out of compliance and care plans lacked considerations that severely hinder the quality of care for the individual. Cross Cultural Homecare Inc. established its core value based on customizing care catering to individual needs.
Ms. Herr is the owner and the Qualified Professional Licensed Social Worker for Cross Cultural Homecare Inc. Ms. Herr graduated with her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota with an emphasis in Clinical Mental Health an added benefit that she can better understand and help clients who are dealing with mental concerns.
Ms. Herr oversees and evaluates the effectiveness of PCA services. With the recipient and/or their responsible party, Ms. Herr develops care plans that will meet the needs of ADL dependencies and reflect the assessments. Ms. Herr provides training to the PCA staff to ensure competency of PCA services, supervises, and evaluates the PCA staff on the effectiveness of their personal care assistance services. Ms. Herr communicates with recipients about the importance of having services that align with their needs to achieve their goals and continue living safely in their homes. Ms. Herr has experience working with diverse populations, such as adults who are physically and mentally challenged, disabled elderly, and children with cognitive and developmental delays. Ms. Herr has over 20 years of experience working in the helping professions. Ms. Herr is passionate and ready to help anyone. Ms. Herr speaks, reads, and writes English and Hmong.
